Contemporary family garden-Bromley
The large uninspiring lawned garden was transformed into a beautiful, peaceful space which was divided into different rooms. Rectalinear plant borders helped to break up the space and emphasise views.
Small trees were planted to increase the height of the view to the garden and to frame views as they mature.
The heavy clay meant we needed to install specialist underground drainage to manage any excess surface water.
The fences were painted black to allow them to recede into the background and become less prominent. These will be covered by shrubs in time.
The glass garden room was installed by Eden Verandas before the build of the garden started.
