Family garden with a a pond-Carshalton, Surrey
The large family garden had a good structure but the pond needed updating and the reshaping of the lawn allowed for more planting. Colour was added to the garden through the new plant borders.The existing patio remained unchanged.
The pond was reshaped by Aqua Design and Landscaping according to the garden design. A pebble beach allowed the children to go pond dipping. The wildlife also had a passage to enter and exit the pond.
A slatted cedar wood pergola was placed next to the pond so that the adults could enjoy the space while keeping an eye on the kids.
Imperial Landscapes landscaped the borders, built the pergola and laid the new porcelain paving. The paving under the pergola is from Mandarin Stone.
